Tuffsaw blades!

I know many of us on here regularly praise Tuffsaws for their superb blades and customer service, rightly so, but today I put my old 351 through it's sternest ever test cut. Resawing 10" of walnut. Due to the thickness of my new table I guess it's about 3cm under absolutely full capacity, but still....

The results were astonishing. I expected all manner of problems, stalling, a ton of drift. In the event, none of that happened, it came out perfectly square and even the speed of the cut was a joy to behold. I am gobsmacked as I never thought I'd be able to accomplish this on the 351 yet I dared to dream.

Already sent this to Ian but wanted to share with the forum as I found it so crazy good. Chuffed to bits.

3/4" Supertuff Fastcut in this case. The widest I have. Tension wise it's about as much as the 351 will take.

Yes, the Kreg is adjustable in all axis and solid. Lightyears ahead of the standard startrite fence. The only issue I have with the Kreg fence is that when tightened down, it moves slightly. This makes the precision adjuster difficult to use effectively.

It's varies between 3 and 4 tpi I believe. It's a special design, unsure if unique to Tuffsaws though. It's best to contact Ian for specifics, he is very customer oriented so would be happy to answer any questions I'm sure.

What's the thickness of the blade (its not listed on their site)? Unless it is unusually thin-bodied for a 3/4" I suspect it is really beyond a 351 to tension to best recommendations, but results are results.

One thing it will not be is unique to them. The stock will be bought in from the likes of Starrett, Dakin-Flathers, etc (with no doubt also a bunch of Chinese competitors these days).

Certainly - they obviously originate from a first class manufacturer.
The thickness appears to be 0.55mm.
