Triton thicknesser head removal?

Hi

Has anyone removed the full cutting head from a Triton TPT125?

Based on this diagram…

Removing 86 - 91 looks like it may allow you to pull the head out of the side of the machine.

Anyone done it?

I've not but suspect many of this type of 'cheaper' thicknesser is it is more a disposable tool, and if it breaks, its usually cheaper just to buy a replacement, as it was never really intended o be dismantled.

Not a Triton but I have pulled the head from a dewalt to install a spiral head and found one bearing was slightly larger than the other so you can take it out through the bigger end. Another tip taking anything apart is take photos as you take it apart so you can see how those bits go back together.
