After ordering my Triton router I was looking around their site and I came across the DCA300 Dust Collector. Has anyone got one of these?

I realise that it was produced for their workcentre but I wondering if it would be any good using it on a handheld router or my Festool plunge saw?

While on the subject does anyone use the full size extender such as the one Axminster sells? If so does it make a difference?

I have the Triton dust bucket, I think that is what you mean. It works ok and stops a lot of dust getting into the vac. It has a filter in the lid that tends to clog after a while, but it is easily cleaned. There are also plans around to convert it into a mini cyclone. Can't find the link right now but have a look at the Aussie Ubeaut site, they have a dedicated Triton forum.

Forgot to say that I also use the Triton dust collector with my router table. It has two collection ports so I can hook it up to the fence and to the router under the table. Spare connectors, hose etc. are cheap from the Guys at Sharpend services.

George,

Two collection points what a good idea. You can really see that Triton put a lot of thought into there products.

George,

Have you got a web address for them?

Thanks for the info.

Cheers

Hi Mike,
They now call themselves The Woodworking Centre and they have updated their website since the last time I bought anything from them. They have pdf files with exploded diagrams and parts lists of all the Triton kit so it is easy to find what you need.
