TRigger switch for reage evolution mitre saw

My rage evolution mitre saw stopped working today. No drama, no smoke, worked for one cut. Did not work for next.

One possible diagnosis is the trigger switch failing.

It is a Hont HT 1004-2118 or Hont 1004 2112.

Any idea where I might source a replacement?

Any ideas gratefully received

I did, possibly even while you were replying. But thanks, it could have been the prod I needed. I have to say that their support line was very good - talked me through checking the brushes - very worn. Talked me through paying for them as well (20gbp!). I had not even realised that brushes were a serviceable item.

It might be cheaper to buy brushes elsewhere in the future (esp as the whole machine is now available for about 100 gbp including a new blade)

I thought that that might have happened.

But I will learn by experience. And to be fair, the support guy was very patient and did explain everything clearly while I removed and inspected brushes. Did I pay fifteen quid for a lesson in power tool maintenance? Ah well, I have had more expensive lessons. I will use the authentic parts to find cheaper pattern parts for next time.
