Tormek and Jet wetstone grinders

Anyone know if the tool rests on these are interchangable? Are they the same diameter bar and are the prongs the same distance apart?

Hi, I have the big Tomek wet grinder and bought about a month ago the Jet tool rest. Unless you really know the differences....there is not one. Fitted perfectly and a fraction of the cost.

That's what I'm hoping to do, put a jet rest in a Tormek 2000. I read one review that said the "prongs" were a few mm's difference in spacing so was concerned they were not interchangable. Where did you get yours and how much did you pay.?

I got mine from Axminster. I tested the Jet support arm rods in aTormek that was on display.

I bought the jet toolrest and it is a perfect fit. Not sure why anyone would buy the Tormek version given the price difference.
