In the UK you guys can buy miter saws that are built with induction motors. It seems to me they would be a longer lasting saw. Ant input on the go and bad of these saws with induction motors? Also it looks like Dewalt offers and induction motor router, any thoughts?

Yeah we do have Mitre saws in england with induction motors on them one make witch comes to my mind is Electra Beckum look here for a selection the one i'm talking about is the ELECTRA KGS301 and KG331

I saw the Electra Beckum at a show once and boy the motor was quite

Never heard of the Dewalt Router with an induction motor before, maybe it hasn't been released in the UK yet..
