I really enjoyed that style of presentation and am seriously considering making one. Many thanks!

Very nicely done - love the machine gun chisel work in the sped up sequences! It also made me realise how much I need to move my bench from under the rubbish piled on it in my garage, and into my workshop. Holding stuff is so easy with a vise, yet I've been struggling with clamps and ad hoc arrangements for ages.

Great video G enjoyed the fast motion, easy to follow. But....why the American lingo? 1x7.........dado..???

That was good. My lad enjoyed it looking over my shoulder too ! I need to make one of those myself for my green woodworking tools; I have been using a plastic toolbox which really isn't very appropriate ! That eould look much more the part.

Thanks Chaps, I think it something I'll be doing again for another project. It makes my workshop time more enjoyable too.

Graham I feel your pain :). I think it boils down to who watches them. When I look at my stats page on YT it is nearly all North America so I had to make a choice. The term Dado seems mainly to do with the machine cutting of housings in the uk. Dado heads used to be available for cross cut saws etc. We even used to call rebated rabbets back in the day!

I'm not precious on terminology, as long as I can be understood https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBOCHPCYnDw

The fast motion technique you used is brilliant! Very watchable, well done. Do some more!

I enjoyed it, good video =D>
The fast motion worked well, it let you see the whole thing without getting bored or with "here's one I prepared earlier" moments.
Good looking tool tote :D

Cheers fellas

I have one in progress right now and hope to have it up fri/sat. I agree on the boredom. I reflected on some of what I was doing and writing about and found it boring. This was a nice way to mix it up a bit.

If Steven Fry says it's right, it must be!

I watched it two or three days ago and thought it was one of your best. Not the actual project, but the style and delivery.

I really enjoyed that video and liked the format. Well done =D>

Shows what you can do with a few hand tools plus a lot of skill that comes from practise, practise, practise.

Thanks for sharing.

Regards Keith
