Hi All, My hands are not as supple as they used to be and I find the handles on the tool rest of my lathe (Scheppach 1100) small and akward to use. They are thoes little ones that are about 3"1/2 long with the little button you press to change the position. I have some DVDs and the lathes seem to have longer handles. I was wondering is it possible to buy these and from whom. Are they called Cam locks or are these a different thing altogether. Any help greatfully accepted. Regards Boysie. :?

Look on Axminster's site for locking levers (aka Bristol locking levers)

...I haven't posted the url as it's a long one

It doesn't give the physical size but you can e-mail or ring them for more info

Why not just extend the levers you have. A small piece of pipe or a turned extension would be simple enough to do

Thanks to all was'nt sure what they were called, Bristol levers .
Nice one Blister the accident has'nt effected the old head for buisness I see, will be in touch after Sat. club meeting, may have some extras.
Regards Boysie.
