Tonights what the......?

...heck are these ;-)

Obtained in a job lot of goodies

This man had a varied skill set

Plumbing, mechanical, lathe use, among others

I have no idea what these are, or even if the components all go together

The mallet shaped item appears to be the same diameter as the alloy items which fit together but I don't know if thats just coincidence

The third picture of two alloy cylinders may be nothing to do with the others but again I have no idea what they are for

Anyone recognise anything?

Picture two in the centre is a home made die holder for threading in the lathe.
The two things on the right are machine jacks for setting up things on a milling machine
