Timber supplier

Afternoon,

Am going to sound like a spanner now, but hey-ho...

I need some lengths of a darkish hardwood (something like mahogany). I don't really care wat it is, it just needs to be darkish to contrast with the redwood I'm using.

I'll need lengths of 500mm x 40mm x 20mm. Anyone know of a timber supplier in South London who could supply? Ideally, I'd like lengths of 20mm stuff that I can saw/plane, but a board of 20mm that I can round down would be OK too.

If you can get away with 18mm finished size then pop into South London Hardwoods they have a reasonable selection of planed boards in that thickness that you can just rip to 40mm.

They can also machine 32mm nominal down to 20mm if its critical.
