Hi - I have some tiling to do (I think about 70m sq). It's limestone and marble for a kitchen floor and bathroom floor/wall.

What is a good wet cutter to get ?

Help !

Thanks
Ed

The plasplug ones are not too bad, the Master one does me but for a one off their cheaper ones will be OK.

Rubi are another good make but may be more than you want to spend, I use their manual cutters

I purchased a brand called red devil it was less than £40 and has served me very well also still on the same cutting disc, I do remember getting it from tesco web site.

I used the hell out of a plasplug contractor, but if i do it again, which i will (and a lot) i buy the dewalt, but if you want a good cut, i would rent the rubi,

ps the quality of the cut is for 90% in the blade, i upgraded the plasplug saw (which was arround the £100,- 5 years ago) with an £80 disc, which did make a big difference

I have the Dewalt one D24000,very good bit of kit, expensive but has more than paid for itself.
Very good at cutting mitred edges,so you dont have to use that horrendous plastic tile strip.

If your job is a one off,why not hire one?

Mark.

I've got a plastic one (Plasplugs?).

It's fine for thin tiles - as are any of the ones suggested, but I wouldn't want to use it on think floor tiles.

I did everything, even slate, - not easy, but with a good blade ok
