I need to get this mess tidied up, Sitting on the hallway table I have:

1. BT Router
2. Apple Air Backup box
3. Hive network box
4. 3 Mobile box
5. SSE Smart Meter
6. Table lamp
7. Landline telephone
8. Remote control for door curtain

So that's an 8 gang extension plus one more for the mains enabled network cable that I need for the TV.

Has anyone got or seen any ideas for tidying this rather unsightly mess. I was thinking of building a decent cupboard but I am concerned that I might be blocking the various router signals going on.

Ta.

They don't all have to be in the same place.

But maybe get a tower plug extension

That’s not 100% correct. The xDSL cable from the router to the filter/faceplate is not twisted pair and is susceptible to interference, especially from switched mode power supplies. So try and route this separately from other cables. The WiFi can be blocked / reflected by anything metal so again try and keep the hub clear so it can operate as designed.
