thread turning with a difference....

Found time to have a go at thread turning yesterday afternoon and another just this morning......

did this one yesterday.....

a Sierra made from Holly


and popped down the shed and made this one this morning....

a 'slim-line' made from a piece of pear from Winchester Cathedral




a bit odd maybe, but was after practice of threading, plus trying a bit of wood thats not supposed to take a thread...... well it does when you also use a bit of superglue and let it soak into the wood to help 'harden' it up :lol: :wink:
