He believes in a deity, so therefore he believes ghosts exist. Q.E.D. :D

if it took all of Saturday and Sunday to get rid of a ghost,

would it be a Deity weekend?

OK I'll go and get my coat

I know some one who went for a dirty weekend and came back with one!

I bow to no one in my disdain for Christian churches but if we were Micky taking say Muslims this post would be removed PDQ.

Just saying......

A vicar woke one morning to find that his bicycle was missing. Now it was only a small parish and there were not many suspects, I mean parishioners. So he decided to shame the culprit into returning it. Softly softly, like.

So on the Sunday morning he gives his sermon on the 10 Commandments. When he got to "Thou shalt not steal" he had a good look round the congregation to see who was looking uncomfortable, but could not detect any guilt.

It was only when he got to "Thou shalt not commit adultery" that he remembered where he had left his bike.

Funny you should mention Radio 4. Usually listen to the Today programme (at least until I've had enough of Humphrys) but guaranteed to leap for the dial when TotD comes on, down to radio 3 - only to be met with 'tweet us your favourite piece of music when flossing your teeth/cleaning the toilet/scraping the barrel (delete where applicable) - to down shift to Radio 2 and Chris Evans.

I'm living a quieter and quieter life.
I used to have R4 on from walking in to the kitchen in a morning until dinner in the evening. But these days it doesn't go on until late afternoon, and not always then. I can't remember the last time I listened to Today.
I do have the radio on in the car, usually R4 but sometimes Classic FM. I have a digital radio in the workshop, but it's not often on. But at least with that I can have R4X or Gold.

I usually listen to PM, even when I haven't written to my pals Eddie and Carolyn. Or Eddolyn, as I like to intertwangle them.

But most of the time I prefer silence, which is a pity as I appear to be living on an interstate highway. I hate the traffic.
