I have just finished this little rocking car for a friend mainly made with plywood and other wood from the scrap box for the small parts. Painted pink as it is for a little girl. I did make a mistake can you spot it

That is one nice motor, as for the mistake, no seat belts, no windscreen wipers/washers in fact no windscreen, no reversing light, no front/rear fog lights.....etc etc!

Ok I give up, what is the mistake?

Seriously, there is a little girl who is going to be well pleased with her new car, very nice build, don't suppose you have any WIP pics?

Thank you all for the comments I will give it a couple of days before I let you know what mistake I made. As for a WIP of the build have a look here http://s702.photobucket.com/user/diggerdelaney/library/Car Rocker a
Also the MG photo's that I used purely as a guide when making it. I will eventually put them up as a u tube slide show without the music I used in the rocking bike and horse.

very nice - mistake seems to be nowhere for the sick bags (mine still get travel sick)

did you have a go ? (needs to be tested :))

Apart from doing too good a job (you will now have to make more) is it about balance?
I'm sure you will have allowed for the drivers weight! have you put the seat over the center of gravity so that when the driver in sitting in it it still balances?

Thank you all seems like you are having to much fun working out the mistake.

The seat is a little towards the back as the bonnet is longer than the boot and is therefore slightly heavier have had a young one in for tests.

As for making more these are the rockers I have already made

I'm guessing the girl is called Margaret. That's the mistake. You've put completely the wrong name on the plates. It has to be something like that because the rest of it is flawless. I'd be well chuffed if I'd made that. Even more so if I received it.
Can I have one?

All the best.

Adam.

Ahh wrong way round, they taper to the front not the back as that is where the lock normally is - the chunkiest part of a door handle.
