Must get out more - the garden does requie some more planting out!

Rob

Way too warm for any of that malarky.

Nope, silly messages it is.

Mr S as usual you have turned the thread on it's head with this off topic mumbo jumbo. You are clearly a sick man and I would appreciate it if you did not extract the urine from members like myself who are here to talk seriously about a much loved forum and zippy from rainbow

You have been put in your place  Now get back on topic

Cheers

Mike

Well thanks one and all.

Like most, I have had my share of bits and pieces at far below the true value, so it's nice to be able to return the 'karma'. What goes around comes around as they say. (I just stumbled over about 5 cube of lovely Douglas Fir for £60.00. Not bad and just the right sections for the legs of me new bench! Should look well with the Southern yellow Pine. (I think there might be some more very nice spruce and other pine sections there. When I know the stuff is available I will let the Forum know.

Mike, I hope the base fits okay. Now, I expect you are going to get some 'TUFF' blades? I know I am!

Cheers folks

Regards
John

Hi John,

I already have some Tuff blades waiting to go on the saw

And by the way the saw does fit on the trolley, so once again thank you.

Not being one to cause waves and call people names  , I am hoping, Stutters, that you are not taking offence at being given written orders from another member - an English immigrant :D  to these northern parts too foresooth. I just hope he's not bringing mad manners with him.

I've not taken advantage of the good sales here, but advice I'm prepared to suck in like a Black Hole. My wood working/turning will never come up to the standard of you guys - agricultural might be a good definition - so I can't offer much help there but I can help a bit on the electrical side and do so willingly on the quid pro quo basis.

You calling Mr C. a Member? Now that's just plain rude that is. True, but rude.

Only joking Mr C. Please don't make me go back in the Hammock, unless of course you really think I should, as a Punishment naturally.

I did what you said Mike and I've now got a Red Bonce and a Stonkin Headache.

Naturally I blame you for that.

A Neap ? TURNip !! How's that. I suspect 'neap' is a local term.

Hi Rob, yes it's a turnip, but around here it's also an *****

Anyway back on bleeding topic. That Studders has alot to answer for

Well got to add my ha'penneth here too. (No not rainbow or The Magic Roundabout) To many people to list who have helped me in the past, just hope I have helped others as much. This is how a good forum should be all enthusiasts with help for each other in the one thing that brings us all together, Woodwork. Thanks to all you guys out there (you know who you are) who have helped me and others on here without question. :D

John is one of the fast disappearing members of the human race...a true scholar and a gentleman.

I have only been here a short time (relatively) but in that time I have had a huge amount of selfless help from many here...John included.

I can put up with the pedants and grumpy gits knowing that people like John frequent this site.

Cheers for posting this Mike!
