Sorry, last time I forgot to congratulate you on mastering the black art of uploading images to the web, one day I to may master this art, but not with Windows 8.1 as I do not have any photo software for 8.1 and will not be purchasing any.
As I see that Microsoft already have trial versions of Windows 10 on offer, I think that is all there needs to be said about 8.1, Grrrrrrrrr :evil: .

I am very much like you Chris. I had tried many times to upload photos. I have an i mac and feel these are twice as difficult to master than a PC. I knew photos had to be re-sized to get them on the forum and Steve is very good at this so he always used to edit my photos and put them on the forum. My son is a computer whiz kid and when he was over here recently he showed me how to do it. In the program I use I looked everywhere for the word "re-size" but failed, my son then clicked on export and hey presto there is was. It's the same as Facebook, they use a language I am not familiar with.

How right you are it is definitely a language all of its own. I opened a Facebook account a few years ago, following advice from someone on the MS Society web site forum, but I have never understood what it’s for.

I guess it’s for the younger generation, not an old fart like me. :roll:
