The Other Half

Mentioned to HID's a while back that I was thinking of buying a couple of LN's, the #4 Low Angle Smoother and the shoulder plane 1/2.

I was humming and arring and never really made the plunge becuase of the price. Well I got an e-mail from HID's saying that Axminster had dropped off a package containing the two planes.

Unfortunately I don't get home until next week, so I'll have to wait for a play with them

Now thats what I call looking after Hubby, are there any similar significant other halfs out there.

I wonder if this will work a second time.

The secret is she thinks I work to hard, or she wants to make sure I have all the tools I need before retirement. Little does she know the list is endless.

It works for me time after time. I just have to keep the "DIY" account topped up. Getting my planes, handsaws and chisels with her full blessing, but gawd, I've worked 'ard for it this year!
