That is the best line-up I've seen in a long time. I hope that it's well attended.

There are a number of companies that I've never seen exhibiting before, such as British Hardwoods, Jewsons and Woodford.

Was planning on going on Friday,as had the week booked as holiday .Have had to re-arrange holidays to fit in with a training course ,so will now be going either Saturday or Sunday.

NB Hall 2 at Stoneleigh Park has been provisionally booked.

If it's anything like the North of England show, it will be excellent.

This show seems to go from strength to strength and certainly bodes well for Stoneleigh next year.

We'll have a stand there and the open invitation to meet around it stands, we normally suggest midday to fit in with most people. I won't be there and will leave it to you lot to sort out arrangements!

I am going to make a big effort to attend this event.

I will be heading north come the end of November. I expect it will be a 3 - 4 hour drive, subject to the A1.

Is anyone thinking of staying over? If travelling from a far?

I'm off - been waiting for it to come. Put off delaying quite a few big purchases for a while. Be nice to meet up with anyone else going there. Probably go either Sat or Sun.

British hardwoods were there last year - lots of good bundles.

With both this show and the Knitting and Stitching one on at the same time finding good priced accomodation could well be difficult, you might need to look a bit further afield If you need it I'd suggest you don't leave it too much longer!

I can confirm that all reasonably priced accommodation was booked up in Harrogate for that weekend many months ago. I know because I spent hours and hours on the web trying to find somewhere. An owner of one of the excellent B&B places in Harrogate told me the exhibitors book up the best rooms from one year to the next. You could try Knaresborough, Ripon, York or Leeds as well.

The idea of coordinating a woodworking show with a huge knitting and needlecraft show in a classy, beautiful town like Harrogate is sheer genius. And the best bit? Betty's Tearooms, of course! Life doesn't get any better. Well, not for old gits like me, it doesn't.

I don't take up much room - but have a habit of leaving a lot of mess.

To be honest - if you don't mind driving half an hour so so - there's loads of hotels in and around Leeds\Bradford. One, you'd actually get a room and two, be about half the price of anything you'd get in Harrogate.

Dibs is right. Harrogate is expensive... mega expensive! If you want accomodation stay in Leeds. The Travel Inn at Yeadon (Leeds/Bradford Airport) is on the road to Harrogate, about a half hour drive away, and will be reasonably priced.

Escudo - If you check into that one (or one nearby) I will be driving past and no doubt anyone else from Bradford, you're more than welcome to a lift to Harrogate - considering how far you will have driven to get there.

Could even have a get together in the evening - you can't come so close and not sample the curries!
