Sharpened up my blade this evening and gave it a try in the #6, horror of horrors, the mouth is too tight for it :( I adjusted the frog backwards, but no joy. Any suggestions? I'm reluctant to file the mouth because it's just right for standard thickness blades.
 
Hi Chris, how thick is the blade - it didn't seem too thick to me. If you do file the mouth will the frog take it back to a setting for standard blades?

File the BACK of the mouth then you can move the frog back and get clearance, its the bevel that is catching, and if you put a thin blade in you can just move it forward again, and you don't have to worry about getting it square etc.

That sounds like the solution, thanks chaps. I had tried moving the frog back but of course the blade caught the back of the mouth. I'll file the back, cheers!
