Pre Christmas I spent hours searching for reviews and advice about the best option for a scrollsaw.
As numerous people have said, buy cheap buy twice.
Bought a Scheppach decoflex as a first machine-it's ok but a pain to change the blades, shakes about a little bit all of which have been pointed out in various posts.
Have just recieved my nice new Hegner multi 2sv today with foot switch - what a difference
The action is smooth, doesn't shake the allen key off the workbench (makes changing blade on decoflex a pain when haveing to search the floor to find)
To all the forum members who recommended Hegner I apologise for not heeding your valuable advice in the first place and would accept any comments or digs with good grace.
I would also like to say that any comments made will not be anything compared to whats already been said by 'er indoors!
Anybody looking for a scrollsaw--Dont do what I did it just isn't worth the pain in the ears!!!!!
Thanks
