Hi everybody! I'm 90 years old so no longer very active in making things, but I have a few old tools dating back to my father' generation. By me now I have a Leyris ratchet multi-head screwdriver. I can't figure out how to change the head. can anyone help please?

Welcome John , 90 years young 👍👍 sorry can’t help with your question- I had to google leyris as I’d not heard of this company. There’s a few for sale but the blade looks like it’s fixed . I’m sure others will comment . I have the Stanley rachet screwdrivers but the bits are fitted at the ends in a small collet or chuck..

Hi and welcome John.
Dad had one that looked just like the first photos that google serves up for the leyris. No idea if it was that brand or not, but his was a fixed blade.

Fingers crossed for someone else to comment ...

My son came to see me yesterday and showed me how. You have to push the knurled bit towards the handle and separate it from the collar.
