Hi need advise of experienced craftsmen.
Below you can see idea of one company. They need to have it from 1 inch thick wood oak. I replay that i can try to make from 3/8. I need to know is it possible to make this as newbe ? This is not cutting animals or other stuff where you can sand if you make some mistake. If it is possible what price is fair for me and them. They are thinking of size 11 x 11 cm total 20 - 100 pcs - They have limited budget and amount is depending from cutting price.
Any advice what to cut first - is it ok if i use no 9 blade for straight lines and no 5 blade where are corners or i should just use no.5 blade ?

Thank you for any advice.

Just use No 5 ,but unless you are used to using a scroll saw you are going to struggle on cutting 100% straight lines

1 inch thick oak will be a lot of work for a scroll saw blade. If I were making it I would try to cut as may of the straight lines as possible using a thin kerf blade on my bandsaw so I would then only have to cut the 90 deg zig-zag parts on the scroll saw.

Cost wise, I'm not sure they could be made for a competitive price when you add in the wood cost, labour cost, taxes, other costs etc,. At least, not here in the UK. Costs may be lower in Slovenia but I don't know.

Hope this helps,
Dave.

Cut 81 square pieces and glue together 79 of them as necessary to form the shapes. :)
