Hi folks
I want to be able to mount my supernova 2 chuck in my no.1 morse tailstock which is on a Draper lathe. My chuck fitting is a 16tpi 3/4" does anyone know if such an attatchment exists please?. I need the chuck to be able to swivel while mounted so the threaded part would need to spin not fixed.
The reason for this setup - Main part of segmented bowl mounted on faceplate on headstock, newly made ring mounted in cole jaws on supernova chuck on tailstock to enable accurate alignment for gluing together, hope that makes sense ;-).
Cheers
Steve

Steve, do you really need to bother with the absolute accuracy of the morse taper adaptor, would not something like this turned out of a bit of beech or the like do just as well to locate the chuck.?

Thanks again all for the quick replies. Nice idea that Chas seems to be the most practical way as opposed to `gulp` £88 for the Oneway attachment :x .
Yes bit pricey that Hans can`t quite justify that, maybe when I`m churning out £1000 bowls I`ll get one of those
Long way to go, not made my first segmented bowl yet, best not give up the day job yet
Regards
Steve
