Table extensions for EB P/T

Does anyone know if you can buy table extensions for the infeed and outfeed planer tables (not thicknesser ones like Tony made) for the EB260 planer. I can't find any but there are enough clone makes out there that I wonder if anyone knows of a source.

I'll ask Metabo/ EB tomorrow but their website shows nothing. I could make some I'm sure but I'm being lazy and am a bit short of time.

I came across a lateral approach to this in a recent post (will try and find it) where the guy had made a torsion box that straddled the bed of the thicknesser and gave him is long infeed and outfeed.

Other suggestion is more children? :wink:

The problem is not the thicknesser at all but the planer tables are too short for anything longer than about 1200mm - I need a solution to planing longer boards esp when of heavier cross section.

Try some roller stands, I have used them before.

Ps how do people on here post addresses without the hole address being there :?

Its not so much about the weight support but about the flatness of an extended top to enable bowing to be planed out. A roller is going to do that.
