T-track and Mitre slots

I'm looking for some advise. I intend building a router table, with a top made of 25mm plywood. There seems to be a bewildering choice of t-track available to buy. What I can't seem to get my head around is what size is the most common. I have a Metabo TS 254 with what I would describe as pretty rudimentary mitre guage, fitted with the optional sliding carriage which also has a mitre gauge, but it's track is dimensionally different from the table track. I have seen a Dongui mitre gauge and fence that I think could be employed on my intended router table and table. Am I making sense. Love to hear options and advice.

One of the most important features on the router table is the fence, this may or may not use T track. When it comes to T track look at the ones used by the people who actually make router tables such as Kreg, Woodpeckers & Jessem as it will help ensure after market items fit, a good source of info is @Peter Sefton at WWW as he not only sells but is a very experienced woodworker who uses it.

Standard mitre track for mitre gauges is 3/4" x 3/8" , this will fit our Incra, JessEm and Woodpecker tools.
