SuperTuff bandsaw blades

We've just had delivery of Tuff Saws' new SuperTuff Premium bandsaw blades for testing. They seem to be marvellous. Has anyone else given them a try yet? A 1/2in blade for our Record Power BS350 costs about £11.50. Seems pretty good value.

Got a 3/8" x 3tpi Supertuff Sabrecut fitted to my bandsaw at the moment and a selection of spares of the same in differing widths.

Namely 1/4" x 3tpi, 3/8" x 3tpi, 1/2" x 3tpi, and a 1/2" Supertuff Fastcut for slicing dry stock.

I normally buy in batches from Ian and go for two of each at a time.

Is there a difference between SuperTuff Premium, Fastcut and Sabrecut?

Yes there is, you really need to do some browsing of the Tuff Saw site to see the full descriptions and recommended uses.

Thanks. Ian has just sent me a full spec of all the different types of blade. Very impressive service. Small is indeed beautiful!
