I bought some ultra thin superglue and the cap keeps getting stuck on. Also the hole in the nozzle is too large so it’s difficult to apply a small amount of glue without making a mess.
Any suggestions for a better alternative? I don’t want to waste what I’ve got so decanting into another container would be good. TIA

I use these tips quite a bit when I'm doing fine detail stuff:

As for the lid getting stuck on, two things:
  1. Wipe the nozzle before you put the lid back on (simple, but effective)
  2. Keep the bottle in the freezer (guaranteed low humidity, which makes the superglue stay uncured for much longer). It's usable straight out of the freezer.

Thanks. I normally keep my superglue in the fridge but didn’t want to risk the ultra thin coming out thicker.

I don’t use the nozzle, but normally dip anything from a 1” panel pin to a nail or screw into the bottle which gives you a fine point to apply with precision, and a tiny to quite large flow depending how far you the thing in and if you use a screw or a nail. I’ve always got nails etc in my metal recycling bin.

I cannot resist adding that keeping the superglue in the fridge is one of the best tips ever, I wish I had dated the pack I have in there at the moment but it must be a year old and Ive used it at least 3 times, way better than open, re-seal and throw away the full tube the next time you go to it!
