FTAGH Stilletto Gimp Pins

I have a heap of these to go to a new home ~ 6 gallons
These are very long pins 33mm and ca1mm diameter with flat round-

head
Galv finish

The interweb seems to think they should only ever be 1/2" long but these are sewn into hessian sacks with the makers info on there.
These are from Whitfield Hodgson and Brough of Kettering (makers of cobbling equipment)

Sorry, not for me, but in my haste I first read it as 'Pink Gins', to which I might have had a different answer!

Are you sure it isn't "gimp" pins? The design use for which was upholstery, similar in design to pictured and yes the shorter ones were more common.

Sorry I must be getting dyslexic I thought it was pink gins.
