For Sale Startrite TA 145 Table Saw 240v.

Refurbished Startrite TA145 saw. Dates from the early 70's. A good solid, heavy saw.
It was originally a 3 phase saw when I got it but I fitted an original model 240 volt motor that I had, along with an original online starter with NVR and motor overload protection.
New bearings fitted in the motor and the spindle. 2 new drive belts fitted. It also has the Louvred side panel ( these are often missing). It also has it's original riving knife, blade guard and cast iron fence with micro adjustment.
All adjustments work sweetly and this is ready for another 50 years of work....
A couple of battle scars on the cast iron top, but it doesn't affect the saw in use.

Here's a picture of the motor before refurbishment....It's a 240v motor that would have been fitted to the saw originally if it had been a single phase saw.

I have some questions.

How much does it weigh?

Does this run off a standard 13amp plug socket now?

What's the blade bore?

Is there any kind of dust extraction port or is it "a broom and dustpan" ?

What are the dimensions of the top? (in mm preferably )

Any possibility of delivery? (Diss area)

1. = 90kg.
2. = Yes.
3. = 5/8" ( 230mm dia blade with 80mm max depth of cut)
4. = No dust extraction unfortunately....
5. = 585mm wide x 560mm deep.
6. = I do have a van and could possibly deliver the saw to Diss if we come to an arrangement....

They're such good little saws. Not for all-day deep ripping with 900W, but solid and precise. I feel it's a snip at what you're asking.

The 900W is a bit misleading as it's the rated "output" of the motor......Most modern day saws only state the input wattage which obviously is going to be higher......The motors on these Startrite saws certainly have plenty enough power for their cutting capacity.

I've been so busy with work over the past couple of months, that it is still sitting in my workshop at home at present.....☺
I've been meaning to put it on Ebay, but just never got around to it.....
