Beautifully presented "For Sale" post, I have to say. Could you tell us what the pattern is on the sole of the two 4-1/2s? Have they been sitting on something like a non-slip mat?

Thanks Mike. Yes the 2 x 4 1/2’s have been sat on sheets of bubble-wrap with 3-in-1 oil on it. Hope that helps. Dave.

My two have arrived. Absolutely brilliantly packed and both planes in very good condition and exactly as described. One of them is destined to be polished up and fettled and given to No1 offspring in the (entirely vain) hope that he will desist from half inching my tools. Thank you.
