Hello,
i have just picked up a Stanley No 5 plane. It has made in England on it, but wondering if anyone could help identify the year? On the back of the frog it has inscribed "Q3C" and on the latch of the frog it has inscribed "24". Might anyone be able to identify the year of it?

Thanks,
Tom

Hard to date english Stanley's accurately, but it's pre 70s because it has no reinforcing ribs in casting probably 50's to 60's
