Another one saved.
This one was dumped, according to the grand son was the sole was shot.
I tried to use it, the blade is good, but this was causing issues.
cut out the damaged and glue in a suitable patch.
Hot animal glue was used.
Boiling the dirt of the metal bits.
Making good the repair and truing the sole.
Gun Blackening on the metal parts.
The blade just needed a cutting angle cut on to it.
Then 800 grit grinding powder used to give a brushed finish.
All ready to rebuild.
It looks rough, but the cracks, cuts etc are filled and sanded smooth.
