Stanley #444 Dovetail Plane

I recently acquired 2 of these. I would like to know what the proper skew angle of the cutters is. I've read online that it is 7 or 7 1/2 degrees however the cutters I have and the line on the cutter box are at 9 degrees.

probably not going to geta host of repsonses here. It a very niche tool and many people who have them dont seem mega complimentary about them..
Maybe try one of the american forums too?

Stanley 444 planes seem to be more suited to collectors of these things than actual users......... it's often easier to cut these sliding joints by hand.
