I dont think you have to go to the top of the range of the Fuji kit. I've the minimite3 which i bought after extensive research on youtube, mainly looking at professionals using that model.
Costs about £800 at Axminster and comes with a top end gun. Or £430 without the gun

I think I’d consider an airless sprayer, possibly a Wagner or Graco. I have both an airless and a Fuji HVLP, of the two I would use the airless to spray cabinets.

Ditto. Air assisted airless is even better imho. But if your spraying 2k or solvent based a compressor and devilbiss is the best(still). The trouble with these is there really noisy and run very hot. I do use one for lacquer a 4 stage graco it's good for this just deafening. I much prefer graco to fuji.

I have a graco pro 9.5 turbine and I use a Fuji T75 gravity fed gun with great results
I find the grace edge Gun seems to leak to much especially after one use

Important question is what have you got to power it? decent size 3hp compressor?
No it’s a 9.5 turbine which you can adjust the flow and has stop and start technology which I find extremely useful
It leaks from the syphon cup after almost every use I’ve replaced the cup with a new one costing over £100 but still the same results but the Fuji T75 is brilliant never once leaked

My graco hasn't ever leaked. My old fuji gun was somewhat prone to blocks. Tbf I changed how I used these systems so I only spray solvent through hvlp now.

I must of been doing something wrong maybe not thinning it down enough because it more or less happened every time I had to refill the flexi cup….to be honest I really thought the the edge gun was a good gun especially when you had to get into confined spaces it’s only the fact that it leaked from the top of the seal round the flexi cup and caused a real mess that i purchased the Fuji gravity feed gun

It's surprising how changing the gun can completely change the spray set up. I purchased a cheap ebay gun and it's coarse but effective with water based. The very tight expensive guns are not the best for thick stuff but are best with thin lacquers(compressor is far better though) remember with water base simply spraying in a fan at any speed is the challenge super fine atomising isn't necessary.

Deema did you ever get round to making those blower alterations? Just interested. The first systems allowed the air to constantly bleed through the gun. I guess opening a bypass in the box kept the dust down(and allowed some baffles)
