Sorry to hijack your thread Blister, but the thread I want to post on is locked and this is my first post so I can't create a new topic in the For Sale section.

I would just like to say that as a silent reader of these forums I was really touched by the kindness and honour shown towards skeetstar in his post advertising his father's chisels for sale.

So nice to see decent human beings doing the right thing, especially on an internet forum. Lot's of forums I visit are plagued by bad manners and trolling. This one is a breath of fresh air.

I wish I had something to contribute but I am just beginning to learn :-(

Thanks Blister

Mod Edit:- Thanks for comments MrTeroo, please peruse the forum rules regarding posts in FS section.

Hello Sir

Even though I am a good guy I think you may have mixed me up with another forum user as I don't recall replying to the chisel thread (homer) Doh !

Enjoy the forum , Just tell us about your tools or planned projects and you will soon have enough posts for full forum access :D

Sorry Mods / Blister,

I just really wanted to post that comment. I chose your thread Blister because one of the people I was referring to was posting in it.

Many thanks

Hello Mr T,

welcome to the forum and I hope you have lots of fun and pick up all the information you need. When I first joined, I was looking at the for sale forum all the time and managed to buy a few items as weell as meeting som very nice members. What part of Worcestershire are you in, I'm at the top end, near Bimingham.

Malcolm

Hello Malcolm / Peter,

Thanks for the welcome.

I live in Cookhill, near Alcester. We are 50 yards inside Worcestershire on the boundary with Warwickshire.

I'm just beginning to enjoy doing some woodworking, attempting a Paul Sellers bench at the moment.

This forum is very helpful.
