Dry wall screws! You don't notice while using them but in the evening you find your finger tips are full of little black metal fragments.

To wenge and drywall screws I'll add glass and blackthorns.
Creosote splinters from wood poles are murder :evil:
I fell 34' down a pole once with my belt still round it, apparently looked like Woody Woodpecker on the way down. Ended up with forearms looking like a hedgehog and a right bugger in my chin, I had a bit more to worry about than just splinters though :lol: :roll:

Fibre glass...I fixed my old Reliant Scimitar bodywork one summer wearing shorts. The glass fibres in my legs gave me gip for weeks!
