Spear & Jackson saw plate age?

I have this old Spear & Jackson saw plate that I purchased as is; no handle or nuts.
I cannot find the same trademark anywhere in my reference books.
Any thoughts as to vintage? I suspect it is circa 1850 to 1880.
Additionally, I would very much like to re-handle this saw, and get it back to working condition.
Any suggestions for appropriate furniture?

You are likely right about the age so I cant really add much to the history. They did start making the skew back version in the 1880tes so yours is likely older than that. I have never had a saw that old in my hands. As to handles there may be some ideas here.

Thank you , John. This one looks to be appropriate. The saw-nut holes even appear to line-up properly. She will have to do without a real medallion however...

Looking in the British Saws & Saw Makers it shows an identical stamp (25mm high) which is dated 1850. Also there are several handle designs typical of that period, as its copyright please message me if you want any more info.
