Spalted Sycamore Bowl: Practice Piece

Looking good Tom, seems like the round side is working out for you. Quick question, is it my eyes or is your spalted sycamore actually beech?

it looks like sycamore to me - if you look at the unfinished picture you can see the texture - spalted beech tends to me more uniformly spalted than that bit
