Hi, I am looking for advice on where I can buy a small quantity of 2mm 30mm wide black PP edge banding, about 3m? I have found a lot of companies via web search but they are all trade suppliers and understandably not interested in the small amount I need.

I could suggest a couple, but as you've found, they tend to deal only with the Trade as we buy large reels at a time.
It's more than likely that the cost of postage & packaging would be far, far higher than the cost of the edging....That is assuming, you can find a supplier that would be even willing to send out such a short amount.
Must it be a solid Black colour?......I have an offcut from a job years ago that would be more than long enough for your needs, but it is Black with a Grey fleck in it....
