It is described as a ‘urea resin formaldehyde two part adhesive with a translucent liquid resin and a powdered catalyst’.

It seems to only be available in the U.S., but does anyone know of a source over here? Or perhaps an equivalent Urea Resin Glue?

Axminster sells one called ‘Extraphen’ and another - Aerolite 306, but has anyone used these, particularly for Veneering? The details of each aren't really described too well.

Hi Dom

For Veneering in a Vacuum Press. It seems to come highly recommended from the Taunton site, with several advantages over the water based mixes and PVA.

Probably nothing in the right situation, but it's water based, messy, can be lumpy , has a long set time and isn't really needed for flat veneering a lot of the time.

This is the information I was referring to:

Unibond 800

Thanks anyway Dom ....... I can always order it from the 'Colonies' as a last resort, but I'll explore that link you sent - Thanks.
