I bought some lovely oak from a barn-find, including 120 beautiful batons and some lovely thick oak slabs.
The barn belonged to a furniture maker who died 40 years ago, his widow now has planning permission so the barns have to go, as do their contents.
He asked me back when more was uncovered, and I bought some more oak and 7 live edged pieces like this below.

He thought it might be walnut?
Some ancient holes seen, so all has been heavily treated by me with Sikgard woodworm killer.
