Have you ever done something that would make Frank Spencer seem positively coordinated?

The other day, I was working outside as the weather was so nice. I was sanding some boards with the belt sander. To reach the far end of the board I was stretching the cable until the plug came out of the extension reel. Silly me, I forgot to switch the sander off before I plugged it back in. The sander zoomed off the board at 100mph and landed on the hose pipe, making a very neat hole. unfortunately, the hosepipe was full of water and the tap was on. The resultant jet of water soaked everything, including the dog, who leapt up from his slumber and bolted for the house. In his haste he caught the extension cable with his leg and dragged the three tools plugged in to it through the house.

After all that, I decided maybe it was time for a cup of tea!

Wow Simon, thanks that really brightened up my day, was laughing so loud SWMBO came in asking what was up

What sort of dog do you have? If it was one of our two the tools would've likely been dragged around the garden as well. So if not broken at least full of mud and grass

Trying to think of something to post similar, but, sorry, don't think I'll be able to top your antics

Thanks for your story Simon - from your description could imagine very clearly the situation - still chuckling :D . What a pity it could not have been captured on video!!

Cheers :D
