Well done Paul like you I love working on hand tools and wood carving in my Worksop my 1st effort was a small table for my 3 year old grandson I brought it
from a local market for £3 pleased with the results

Very nice mate! I bet the grandson lives that.

I will I suppose learn to carve etc, I love the customization aspect.

I have a few very old wood carving tools that both my farther in laws gave me and am always looking for them at markets and boot sales etc

Thats the 1st time I’ve carved letters - printed off the words stuck it to the table legs and traced through and painted Matt black simple really I think the base bit is oak and table top pitch pine that I planed and sanded the applied clear lacquer so it will not stain when wet or painted etc

I picked the coffee table up at a market the stand bit was very wonky so cleaned the joints an epoxy resigned the joints

Very nice mate! I bet the grandson lives that.
