Tom,
If you are not already aware of them, Stiles and Bates are not that far away from you and they have everything a turner could want.
See here http://www.stilesandbates.co.uk/CMS...Guest&strPageID=NVPSPD2566629115377918579739D

They have a well equipped training facility and carry all sorts of turning blanks etc.

They are friendly and approachable, and also have a nice open day once a year.

I have no connection with them other than a very satisfied customer.

Martin.

I decided to take an offer on the saw in the end. It was much lower than I wanted to go, but after thinking about it long and hard, I want it out of the workshop. I really don't think I'll regret it. I fully intend to replace it one day. But perhaps with a smaller, more manageable unit.

Am I missing something here? A bit of humour that I thought should be present. Wizer, have you not just filled your workshop with a unisaw?

So who is the lucky new owner of the supersaw?

Dave

Sorry Wizer. I should read the posts properly rather than skipping through the thread.

Blister, do you ever get time to do anything? You always seem to be lugging pieces of machinery round the country.
