14 or 15% is usual. Of course, you add 2l to 5l of water or thereabouts. What is the concentration of sodium hypochlorite in the product you use?

Dairy Coos !Where they milk coos? Or all coos?
Milk stone remover I believe is an Alkaline and not an acid like Hypochlorate , and they should not be mixed. Dairy Farmers do use both but it is disposed of in a slurry pit.Try 'milk stone cleaner'. It is the same stuff, near enough. I understand your point about 'Norn Iron' vs Edinburgh. My daughter lives there and the supplies available in even big 'yards' is totally different from 'oor wee place'. There is a fairly good B&Q just off the ring road. Try their online search function to see if "Patio cleaner" is available with them.
Stairs in a Georgian tenement. Can't see it going much further than where it is applied. If using any chemical to clean a patio for example where does most household chemical go? Is it safely disposed of?
