Small hinges

i am a newbie and this is my first question.

I am experimenting with making small wooden boxes and want to buy small hinges. Craft Supplies sell a small hinge especially for pen boxes.
Is there another UK supplier for this item ?

If you just want small brass butts then try Screwfix (they may have a local trade counter as well). If you want something more specialised try Isaac Lords or just google for 'hinges'? If you find a reasonably priced supply of Brusso hinges let me know!

Think he's after very small cylindrical hinges that glue into about a 5mm hole.

Rockler probably do them but they are in the US, You can get nylon versions from model aircraft (radio control)suppliers.

You'd do well to find a better hinge than the ones Brusso make. Classic Hand Tools have most of the range available online. I can say from first hand experience that although the price is high, the quality of these hinges is better than any others I have ever used.

How do classic hand tools get away with charging £17.99 for a Brusso hinge when the same thing from the US is half that price? Even less on sale from Rockler at the moment. Outrageous rip-off Britain at work again.

Here are a couple of sites I use. They both ship to the UK and for small items like hinges the cost is minimal, less than the cost difference on just one hinge!
