Presumably Brimarc require you to have goods delivered to the credit card holder's address. This is quite reasonable given the amount of credit card fraud and also, dependent upon which clearer they use, they might be unable to process your order if they are address checking as part of the verification process.

IIRC, if you contact your credit card company they should be able to add your work address as a legitimate delivery address to the account and this, I believe, overcomes the problem.

I have ordered the Mk II sharpening gague last week. Despite the website saying that deliveries for £30 and over need a signature, this was not sent registered, just first class. The postman left it in the porch with the rest of the mail.

I can see it now. I guess it must have been there all along but the red cross in a box was all I saw and I didn't look long enough for the poking stick
