This is the second 'normal' bowl I've made. I've made more segmented ones but I really enjoyed this.

Very nice Scooby. Ash also takes colour very well. Have you tried that yet?

Thats nice Linus. At the time, I didn't consider colouring. Since then, I've got a couple of crown cryo tools and I like the black ash handles so I'll probably go down that route next time. What products did you use on the bowl?
 
This one was ebonising lacquer with silver gilt cream for the grain. Both Chestnut products. Theres a video on YT showing the process if it helps.

Funnily enough, before your reply, I added some ebonising lacquer to an order. Hit the order button and realised, Id forgotten about gilt cream. Next time.
