Main prob with weight was that the saw body was attached to the cast iron table. I could have split it but i'm glad I didn't as when tested it was pretty much perfectly aligned. You can either build the entire thing upside down then get LOTS of help turning it over, or like I did, assemble the base half, then sort of lifted one side on, and slid it on the rest of the way. I then used numerous blocks of wood to raise the saw whilst I basically built the wheel base in place under the saw (keep those fingers out from under the saw).
